Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your partnership. World Electric is doing everything within reason to minimize the disruption to your business as we work to mitigate the risks associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). World Electric is adhering to the recommendations of the CDC as outlined by OSHA 3990-03 2020 Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19 and will remain open for business, with adjustments to our regular business policies.

We are continuing to maintain our outside sales, inside sales and service, inventories, and delivery services to ensure our customers receive needed materials as timely as possible.

In addition to these stated policies, World Electric has implemented precautionary actions in our business, which include the following:

  • Our Sales Associates will respect and strictly adhere to Customer Policy regarding visitation including jobsites.
  • We have suspended unnecessary traffic in our office from vendors and outside influences.
  • Where possible, conduct group meetings via phone or WebEx, both external and internal.
  • We are asking all visitors that have traveled overseas or have flu-like symptoms to avoid entering our locations to avoid potential spreading of the virus.

orld Electric is working closely with our manufacturers to be up to date in their supply chain positions during this evolving situation. We are in constant communication inquiring about their plant capacities, labor risks, logistical/transportation impacts, and overall supply chain disruption. As a distributor, World Electric does not manufacture any products we sell and we rely on our manufacturers and suppliers to communicate any issues. We will monitor continuously to limit any impact to you, our valued customer.

Please be assured that World Electric will continue to provide additional updates on this page as new information becomes available.

Respectfully,
Pat McClure
